Implementing a Liquid Sand Program Using Rheomac® VMAs
The term "liquid sand" describes the effects of adding Rheomac® viscosity-modifying admixture (VMA) to significantly enhance the consistency and workability of concrete using the most cost-effective fine aggregates available.
The Liquid Sand program offers concrete manufacturers the option of using less-than-optimal fine aggregate materials (gap-graded or manufactured sands) while maintaining excellent workability characteristics in the pumping, placement and finishing operations important to contractors.

As a result of the many positive attributes offered by a Rheomac VMA, producers can now proportion their mixtures in several advantageous ways using either Rheomac VMA 362 or Navitas 33 admixture as a "liquid sand."
